HostWorld Locations; L8

At first glance, the HostWorld center of operations, commonly called "Homeworld" by its employees, can be an intimidating building. Standing thirty-six stories high and with an entirely reflective surface, it mirrors the environment around it with an air of industry and cold science suiting for the modern age. Within moments of opening the grand, simulated-wooden doors, however, the world is taken to a softer, more romantic period of time.

Levels marked in blue cannot be accessed by non-employees.
Level 1

The first floor, designated as 'The Tea Room', is filled with the subtle hints of perfume and tea as guests lounge in plush chairs and sample the cuisine, changing from day to day. Sweeping folds of silk line balconies built above the main seating area where private tables are arranged, usually occupied by only the higher ranked hosts and supervisors to keep an eye on the floor. Plush cream carpets spread out from a small patch of marble around the entrance where a seating host waits at a modest but well-designed podium. Although the cafe is open to all paying citizens of New Babylon, the hosts can be arranged by appointment only. From here, there are three guest-accessible elevators which can access floors 1-5 and 11-20 with the correct access codes.

Across the scarlet and gold couches housing guests, the second half of the first floor has been converted to a small artificial garden where wrought iron chairs with plump pillows and dainty white tables wait for the next potential customer.  Isolated from the public seating is the appoint-only area known as the Rose Garden, boasting over a thousand cloned roses throughout its well manicured path. Guests can take romantic strolls or reserve the garden for a private meal with their favorite host. The skies are projected with constant blues and perfectly white clouds that never carry the threat of rain while the plants are groomed nightly by a diligent staff of gardeners to ensure only the finest quality and most fragrant roses are made available to HostWorld's clientele.

Level 2

When a princess requires her court, the second floor of HostWorld is there to provide. Colored in deep gold and vibrant whites, the banquet hall serves as a location for a plethora of events. From festivals for the rich to the weekly themed dances, there is nary a night when an elegant party or performance cannot be found filling the metallic halls with laughter and music. Infrequently, this floor is rented to charity organizations and utilizes the use of hosts to bring in more donations.

In contrast to the first floor dining facilities, the second level eatery is open to clients alone and caters only to dinner. Weekly floral arrangements are prepared above each meticulously dressed table where gold and white are utilized to set the mood.  Advertised as "filled with light and life", the atmosphere provides quiet intimacy for the well-moneyed guest. There is no menu in the dining hall as each order is made custom for the client's wants. If a necessary ingredient cannot be procured within a reasonable amount of time, HostWorld will provide a free voucher for two hours in the the upper-levels.

Level 3

When the adults want to play, the "Nightlife" floor offers a classy setting of purples and soft whites around a fully-serviced bar. All hosts at HostWorld are trained in basic bar-tending before being allowed to work the third floor and many known to perform entertaining shows while mixing drinks. While there is no live band, a state of the art sound-system cycles through carefully selected tracks from today's most popular artists. This level may not be accessed by a first-time client regardless of their wealth or status, though the Hitachiin twins have been known to extend invites to "business associates". Off the side of the bar, a dance floor waits where moving light shows create the illusion of ice beneath patron's feet. Please note, there is a three drink maximum for clients (customers are, however, heartily encouraged to buy drinks for their hosts).

Level 4

Adding to the old world charm, the fourth facility features a polished stage and multiple project screens to bring new life to old performances. Professional actors and hosts mingle in front of an audience of fifty nightly, offering everything from the classic tales of tragedy to comedic sketches imagined in the advertising department. When a live show is not being held, the hosts are known to treat clients to "movie dates" and enjoy private showings of a wide archive of films.

Level 5
Open to clients: Fri-Sun, 08:00-22:00
Dedicated to the revival of "spirit, body, and mind", the Soul Sanctuary is a communal spa available to customers on the weekends. Dark chocolate oak paneling with soft accents of mint green set the tone of the contemporary clinic, welcoming clients to a relaxed atmosphere and true princess treatment. From hot sand baths to couple massages, HostWorld invites its top clientele to melt the stress of the week away with their favorite hosts offering a variety of cleansing therapies. During the week, the facility is open to its employees on a performance-based system.

Level 6-10
Maintenance and tech support for the SimuStory levels above. Level 10 serves as the base of security. These can only be access by the two employee elevator systems.

Level 11-20
The pride of HostWorld, these ten levels are known as the "SimuStory Games" wherein a temporary physical reality is recreated based on atomic recombinant technology. The programs are changed by request of the client and new games are added on a monthly basis with different hosts and story-lines tailored to the most popular demands.  [OOC: Holodecks.]

Level 21-25
Additional maintenance and cooling systems for the SimuStory computers.

Level 26-30
Finance and advertising department.

Level 31-35
Research and Development Labs.

Level 36

Personal office space of Kaoru Hitachiin, open to employees or invited guests. Beyond the lavish meeting room, sparse living utilities have been spread out (a bed for the twins, reading chairs, VR and AR interfaces, etc)
